This past Sunday at the 2017 Annual TCMABL Meeting/Board Election - the league re-instated the TCMABL Hall of Fame as inducted it's second member into the Hall. Longtime player and manager Bob Janoski for the Twin Cities Cubs. Janoski spent twenty years in the league with the majority managing and playing for the Cubs, but also included short appearances with the Sea Donkeys and Voyageurs. Janoski has won six Division Titles and Two Championships. He spent most of his playing days on the mound where he put up respectable numbers finishing with a 8-7 record with seven saves and a 3.68 ERA.
His contribution to the TCMABL over the years are even more impressive and respected; helping initiate and install the Wood Bat and 35+ Divisions as well as countless hours volunteering with scheduling, treasury and league duties. He was also known for scheduling "outside" games where he would take the Cubs and play verses some of the best Town and Amateur teams in the State - the highlight appearing in game with his son at the Legendary Tink Larson Field verses the Waseca Braves.
Bob went out on top this past summer winning the inaugural 35+ Championship and headed off to the Florida sunset with full support of his former players, league and family with this league honor. What a way to go out. Congratulations to number 3.
